Ok so I thought this would be a great idea and swore I would start this blog when little Rosie was born....silly me. So as Rosebud approaches 8 mos. I figured I should get my butt in gear and start this project.
So I guess I will start from the beginning Little Rosis Mae was born Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at 5:43pm weighing in at 7lbs 12oz with a height(length) of 20 1/2 in. I arrive at the Stallis Palace (West Allis Memorial Hospital) at 9:00am all ready for my induction, after a great Monday Night Football party (the Packer's lost). Things were progressing well and the contractions were contracting. Dr. Schaufelberger broke my water and then I got some not so nice contractions. I requested the epideral and the grooviest anestesiologist arrived and I was good to go. Well I didn't like the drugs so much and got sick to my stomach so I decide it would be best to take a nap. So I fell asleep around 12:30'ish and the nice nurse woke me up around 4:45pm to inform me that it was time to have a baby. I recall explaining to her that I changed my mind and wasn't sure that I could be a mom, she kindly reminded me that it was probably too late for that and told me to push. I pushed twice and Rosie was in position and the nurse told me to just relax and wait for Dr. S to arrive. I reminded her that I didn't think I could be a mom and she politely held my hand and said "it'll be OK."Alright I guess she should know she's a mom. So Dr. S arrived about 10 min. after 5:00pm and the party began. After about 5 big pushes Rosie arrived. Not so bad after all.
Rosie was born on my mom's birthday so they are forever Birthday Buddies!!! Sorry I didn't get you a card mom, hope you forgive me.
